Facing Reality: Protecting Ourselves in the Future

Yours truly earlier pondered the implications of the USA becoming a low trust “failed state.” We will have to face up to what our society has become in order to courageously and realistically deal with unpleasant truths about our future as well as our present state.

Jared Taylor has done just that in an article on the future of white Americans. The number of whites–the people who make up our American Remnant–is declining. Mr. Taylor reported that in the last three years, the country lost more than a half a million whites, with deaths outpacing births. As noted in this space previously, many of those are “deaths of despair.”

It’s not hard to discern the sources of such despair.

Taylor further described a number of factors that are not good news for us, including the “Great Replacement” of the American ethnos via mass immigration. Taylor wrote that “our government treats us as an embarrassment,” which is true enough, though one might also suggest that we are being treated as an enemy, as “whiteness” has been described in a professional journal for psychoanalysts as a “malignant, parasitic condition”  for which “there is no permanent cure.” I can already hear the endless pleas that “more work needs to be done.”

What’s happening in South Africa should be a warning to us as well (I’ve written on that recently here and here.).

Taylor, correctly, I think, concluded that we cannot save the whole country. It’s far too late for that. I concur with his prediction that our people will tend to gather in places experiencing less “woke” oppression and that “Our goal should be local autonomy and eventual independence, so encourage all secession movements.” I’ve written similar things here and here.

Finally, Taylor believes that “Liberals are vicious, but if we are determined to leave, I don’t think they will kill us just to keep our corpses in the Union.” I hope he’s right about that, though the administration’s efforts to purge and indoctrinate the military could be interpreted as suggesting something else. If it comes to that something else, I trust that many of the “boots on the ground” will still be on our side.
