Tucker Carlson on The Chaos in South Africa … And What’s In Store For Us

By Wayne Allensworth

The links between this country and South Africa are deep and profound, particularly politically.
Our ruling class did a lot to empower the current government of South Africa.
There may be lessons for the world in what’s happening there.

— Tucker Carlson

You don’t say.

Fox News correspondent Trace Gallagher told Carlson that it’s easy to “draw parallels” between the chaos in South Africa and the mob violence and undocumented shopping here in the Year of St. George Floyd. It could “easily happen again,” Gallagher said.

“Outnumbered and overwhelmed” South African police have been nearly impotent against mobs of looters, and the army is  being deployed. Gallagher hit the nail on the head when he noted that the ostensible reason for the rioting, the jailing of former South African President Jacob Zuma, provided an excuse for an unofficial shopping spree. After Blacks Lives Matter-Antifa-inspired mobs were allowed free reign across America last summer, you can bet the mob has been updating its informal reparations wish list. It seems likely that BLM is watching the developments with interest, if not glee. After all, Critical Race Theory tells them it’s all the fault of “white privilege,” and, indeed, of “whiteness” itself.

Looters can simply say that the white devil made them do it.

As Carlson observed, our ruling class did a lot to bring about the current situation in South Africa. And the “white disease” in the West in general and South Africa in particular itself provided the necessary supply of guilt, as well as opportunities for virtue signaling, needed to wreck what had been an oasis of prosperity and stability on the African continent. The bad old South Africa even had to deal with an illegal immigration problem, much as the supposedly irredeemably “racist” USA has a serious problem keeping out “people of color.”

The foreigners flooding this country, and the mobs that cleaned out department stores last summer, see America as a massive candy store. They want their share of the goodies.

The current wave of violence and chaos in South Africa could very well foreshadow our Third-World fate, one in which future mobs pick over the remains of a once prosperous country, a country whose recent infrastructure disasters should warn us of what’s ahead.

Those are the stakes for the American Remnant. We should recall that in South Africa, all the talk of rainbows and reconciliation amounted to so much hot air. Envy, a desire for revenge, and racial resentment carried the day. Those of us who still have a sense of self-preservation will have to convince our people of the real danger we face.
