Colonel Douglas McGregor, posting on X, tells it like it is:
“Americans confront millions of illegals who pose an existential threat to the American Republic. Given the size and scope of what is coming POTUS MUST ACT NOW to bring back ALL US GROUND FORCES FROM overseas and employ them at home to restore the rule of law and execute mass deportations. He must also mobilize the Army National Guard and federalize all of our law enforcement. This is the War Americans must fight and win if our country is to survive.”
Colonel McGregor further called on the president to invoke the Insurrection Act. The act permits the deployment of reserve and active duty military personnel to quell unrest in the states. Its invocation is not reviewable by the courts. It is an exception to the Posse Comitatus Act generally prohibiting the use of the military domestically. The Insurrection Act has been invoked 40 times in the past, most recently during the Rodney King riots in 1992.
Anti-ICE protests quickly morphed into riots last Friday in downtown Los Angeles following a week of ICE arrests of illegals. The riots have spread to Compton and Paramount. Not surprisingly, Governor Gavin Newsome, lately pretending to be a moderate, has replayed the left’s claims about riots being “peaceful protests,” as has LA Mayor Karen Bass, even as her own city is attacked. Traffic is being blocked on LA freeways, and “peaceful protestors” are hurling rocks and chunks of cement at law enforcement personnel and National Guardsmen.
President Trump is correctly calling this an insurrection, noting that Los Angeles has been “invaded and occupied” by criminals and illegal aliens. The president has directed Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi to take all action necessary to “liberate” Los Angeles from the invaders and end the riots:

@realDonaldTrump
“A once great American City, Los Angeles, has been invaded and occupied by Illegal Aliens and Criminals. Now violent, insurrectionist mobs are swarming and attacking our Federal Agents to try and stop our deportation operations — But these lawless riots only strengthen our resolve. I am directing Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi, in coordination with all other relevant Departments and Agencies, to take all such action necessary to liberate Los Angeles from the Migrant Invasion and put an end to these Migrant riots. Order will be restored, the Illegals will be expelled, and Los Angeles will be set free. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
A number of commentators on social media have noted that the rioters are waving Mexican flags—but don’t want to go back there. The truth, however, is that the invaders are, in fact, acting as occupiers and see LA as their turf. For years, your observer has written that the battle we face, the war we must fight, as Colonel McGregor stated, is here, not thousands of miles away from home. Mr. President, bring the troops home. Let the Russians and Ukrainians fight it out. It’s not our war. Neither is the Middle East conflict. Our war is here. It’s demographic, social, economic, and spiritual. Do not expend any more political capital on foreign entanglements. The LA riots are your opportunity to do exactly what Colonel McGregor suggests. Don’t let a crisis go to waste.

Anyone who has watched the demographic transformation of California during the last 50s years and has watched Democrats promote it and Republicans do nothing to prevent it, knows we are on the precipice. If California can be saved, it’s now or never.
Agreed.
