The “Vice” President (Casino Capitalism and Exploitation)

Donald Trump made his name partly by building casinos, and he seems to think the entire country is one large gaming table, ripe for exploitation. Whether it’s Kalshi, Polymarket, Fan Duel, or Draft Kings, Trump is the pro-gambling president. His administration has made it easier for these online gambling venues to go nationwide, encouraging a self-destructive addiction that makes big bucks for the sleazy people behind these venues, which includes the Trump family. As Saagar Enjeti observes (See below), the odds on such online apps are worse than in Vegas, odds that might make a Mafia boss or backstreet bookie blush. You will lose, but the addictive quality of gambling is intensified by the ease of simply using an online app. Ads for these apps are everywhere, and the gambling gurus enthusiastically offer incentives to keep addicts addicted. Enjeti claims that online gambling is a more popular pastime than movies, books, or music, and the main targets are young men feeding on a dopamine high that leads to very deep and dark lows — bankruptcy, suicide, and broken marriages among them.

That is why watching Tucker Carlson’s recent interview about “vice” President Trump with Breaking Points cohost Saagar Enjeti is so edifying and important.

One of Trump’s biggest campaign donors, Miriam Adedelson, has benefited financially from gambling, as her late husband, Sheldon Adelson, was one of the most prominent figures in that dirty business. The thread of exploiting human weaknesses runs deep in Trump World.  In his monologue for this episode, Carlson noted that Kalshi sponsors uber Ziocon Ben Shapiro. You can bet — excuse me, as Kalshi and Polymarket put it, “trade” — on anything, from what words might come out of Trump’s mouth at a press conference to when a war might start. This unregulated anything-goes environment is ripe for insider trading. It doesn’t stop there. Carlson further observed that leaked internal documents from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) revealed that the single biggest donor to that organization was a Jewish billionaire from Ukraine named Leonid Radvinsky. Carlson recalled that Radvinsky is a pornographer, the owner of Only Fans, “one of the largest porn sites and human exploitation sites in the world,” a site that has “effectively turned thousands upon thousands of American women into prostitutes,” albeit virtual ones. What’s more, the Trump administration has made it easier for pornographers to secure banking services from financial institutions that once were reluctant to be involved with a seedy business that is often linked to human trafficking.

The pattern of exploitation runs to the Trump Administration’s backing of expanding the legal marijuana racket. Enjeti and Carlson cited plenty of evidence that points to the mental and physical health risks associated with weed. The administration doesn’t care. And the utilitarian arguments made by politicians backing the exploitation triumvirate of gambling, porn, and weed don’t hold water. Granted, you can bring in tax revenue from vice, but the social and financial costs are young men committing suicide, broken marriages, and sick weed smokers. And that’s not all. The job of any government, and the task of any healthy social order, Enjeti rightly said, is to prevent vice from wrecking society. Some things that are bad for you. And no, the addict is not the only person affected by his choice to gamble away the household savings. Women whore themselves on Only Fans. Potheads can’t hold a job. Vice destroys the economic and social foundations that make a stable society. Enjeti lamented that in a secular society, we no longer call “freedom” freedom from sin, but freedom to sin — to engage in addictive, pathological behavior that has catastrophic consequences for the individual and those around him.

Carlson also pointed to the connection between neocon warmongering and the pattern of exploitation. Neoliberals, neocons, and Ziocons think America is a base of operations, a cache of resources, and a source of cannon fodder in the grand globalist scheme of hegemony. Jewish Zionists play a huge role in this game, as they have no love for America or Americans. Our people and our resources must be exploited until they are exhausted in pursuit of the Greater Israel project. The Jerusalem Post recently published an op-ed piece suggesting that debt-ridden young Americans could be easily signed up into military service in exchange for debt relief, as invading Iran would entail a vast number of troops. Independent journalist Glenn Greenwald, who is Jewish, has observed that though not a universal attitude, Jews frequently adhere to a worldview of Jewish supremacy. Exploiting Americans in their war against Iran is not surprising. The Zionists have plenty of willing collaborators among the tech oligarchs who are pushing data centers across the country, which, again, are huge consumers of American energy and water. The tech oligarchs are using us and our resources to further their own transhumanist, dystopian dream of cyborg overlords’ ruling a vast proletariat kept docile by weed, porn, and online gambling, depleting their Universal Basic Income checks while they fail to marry or procreate, decreasing the surplus population the oligarchs will control via a comprehensive surveillance state. So-called Artificial Intelligence and robotics will replace us. The “anarcho-libertarian” oligarchs want all restraints removed on the fracturing of human society as they break us up into individual units of production and consumption, driven by our basest desires as we are “liberated” from traditional morality, personal ties, and normal human attachments.

Capitalism as a belief system, an ideology held with religious fervor by its adherents, is reaching its logical conclusions, detached from any sense of responsibility toward the society on which it feeds. Trump and MAGA promised to protect America, to focus on internal problems, curb foreign adventuring, and re-industrialize our country, creating social and economic conditions needed to revive American society. But what we have under the Trump administration is foreign dominance and parasitic capitalist exploitation, notably by porn, drug, and gambling tycoons. Financialized, abstracted “markets” don’t produce tangible goods or anything of lasting value. The oily, grasping operators in Trump World see us all as suckers. Life turns into a crap game played with loaded dice, a game in which the proles always roll snake eyes.
